Chit Lom (E1) Skytrain :: Description

The Chidlom station serves these purposes:

1. World class shopping, including Central Chidlom, Central World, Gaysorn Plaza, and other places

2. Highrise condominiums and apartments, mostly located south of the station down Langsuan Road

3. Some first class hotels such as the Erawan and Intercontinental

4. Some business highrise buildings

This region is primarily first class shopping and luxury residential.

An elevated walkway sheltered underneath the skytrain rail platform allows you to enter all the major shopping centers via an upper floor entrance. This walkway heads west and goes all the way to the Siam station.

Some of the restaurants and spas scattered around this region are deemed fairly exclusive and most highly regarded. They are located south down Langsuan Road and its side sois.

The Chidlom station is located at the intersection of Phloenchit Rd. and Chidlom/Langsuan Rd, both major thoroughfares. Chidlom Rd. changes name to Langsuan Rd. as it crosses Phloenchit.
