Mission and Philosophy Statement
Our mission is to help develop young learner’s full potential by providing the highest quality education through child-centered learning in a relaxed, secured and caring environment. Following the British Curriculum, with an international perspective, our mission is central to our philosophy - the development of the whole child. Our focus is the learner’s intellectual, physical, emotional, social, creative and moral development.
Aims
The school aims to provide each student with the essential elements necessary for the development of their full potential. Amongst these are:
- An atmosphere that is conducive to effective, efficient, positive learning in a relaxed, secure and caring environment
- Extensive, academically stimulating and highly relevant activities, which help develop logical, critical and creative thinkers
- Activities and opportunities that help develop the learner’s emotional, physical, creative skills and moral values.
Curriculum
The school offers a curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, also known as the British Curriculum. Due to the diverse needs of our multi-cultural student base, our curriculum is modified to suit the dynamic needs of our students. The core subjects are Literacy (English), Numeracy (Mathematics) and Science. History, Geography, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Physical Education, Design Technology (DT), Music, Art, PSHE (Values/Citizenship), Modern Foreign Language (MFL) and Thai Language and Culture complete the curriculum.
Programme
Ruam Rudee Learning Centre, the RC International School’s Early Years Department, offers a well-rounded programme for the Foundation Stage which encompasses Nursery (ages 1½to 3+), K1-K2 (ages 3+ to 5+).
RC International School offers a balanced programme for Key Stage 1, Years 1 to 2 (ages 5+ to 7+), Key Stage 2, Years 3 to 6 (ages 7+ to 11) in the Primary Division and Key Stage 3, Year 7-9, (ages 11+ to 14) in the Secondary Division.

School Profile
Established in 1992 with the Early Years programme, the Primary and Secondary Years programmes were offered in the year 2000.
RC International School’s student community is comprised of, at present, children from twenty-four countries. Taught by our highly qualified teachers, the school atmosphere is truly international!
