The Bangkok branch of the popular worldwide Hard Rock Cafe restaurants and bars is located in Siam Square.
It is very popular with tourists and mainstream Thai people. There are at least 4 levels of tables. The ground level has a live band and a bar and standing tables.
The food is good.
However, I find this place deafeningly loud. I went in 2007 for the first time in about 10 years and the volume is still ear dulling. After I got my drink and took my photos, I got the heck out of there and my ears were ringing badly already.
The bands have good character, so if you have ear plugs and don't need to talk much (scream your conversation into your friends' ears and wake up horse the next morning as well), then it's a fun place to go.
