Linked to the skytrain platform is the Asia Hotel by an elevated entrance, popular with foreigners. Motorcycle taxis take people to the popular Pantip Plaza I.T. center (and back) for 20 baht, though it's thru traffic. Some Thai highrise and many old lowrise apartment blocks are around here, for foreign residents. Coco Walk is a restaurant and bar complex next the the station, frequented by students and professionals after work. This is a busy traffic area. There is little of interest for street browsers.
